Another food recommended by Penangtuapui, Kedai Kopi Seng Thor which serves goodie Koay Teow Tng, and yet above of the coffee shop is another hotel which I won’t stay after Sky Hotel.
We reach there around 10am, and since it was the 5th day of Chinese New Year, the coffee shop is extremely crowded. We had a hard time find a place to sit.
Luckily, although the coffee shop is in a mess, our food doesn’t take extremely long to arrive. The Koay Teow Tng looks nice to us since we notice there are quite a lot of ingredients in it.
And yes, it was not bad, and my mum absolutely love it. Although it was not known as Pork Mee, but it does have loads of pork innards as it’s ingredients. The minced pork here is nice too. 7.5/10
When we were waiting for an empty table, we also notice that there are more people ordering the Lor mee here instead of the Koay Teow Tng. Out of curiosity, we order 1 bowl and try.
However, it is a major disappointment. It’s the type of the Lor mee which I don’t like as the soup is too starchy for my liking, and it doesn’t taste nice. 5.5/10
Honestly, will you stay in this type of hotel?
Operating hours: 7.30am to 12pm
Location: Lebuh Kimberley, Penang.

Honestly? If they’ve got air-cond and Astro, or internet service and clean, I dont mind. I stayed before in this type of motels. 🙂
Both locally and internationally.
I don’t think those got Astro gua, actually got astro or not I don’t mind, even no internet also ok since can use 3G in malaysia.
But i really really doubt the cleanliness of Hotel Seng Thor and Sky hotel….haha
the lor mee was very famous long long time ago…….
