Before taking the MTR all the way to Disneyaland Hong Kong, we had our breakfast at Australian Dairy Company. We found this shop easily as it was located near to the MTR station. A good start for the day!
From what I read, the smooth egg white milk pudding is good. And although I know that I does not enjoy this during my visit to Yee Shun Milk Company @ Macau, I still decided to give it a go, before finally admit defeat and admit that I won’t enjoy this no matter how good what others say. 5.0/10
Milky ice tea to let me forget the taste of the pudding.
Fresh milk which you have to pay extra (forget the exact price) if you wish to take back the bottle with you.
Steamed white bread with ham, which is seriously just meh. I really should have gone for the toasted version instead. 2.0/10
And this, is seriously the best ever scramble egg I ever had before. It’s as golden as it can be, as runny and as smooth it can be. No, I am not over reacting like how most others blog about it, but yes, this is certainly the best ever scramble egg I ever tried before!
While one might ask, what’s the fuss? It’s only egg? Well, I think most will agree that it’s the hardest, and required the most skill to cook something simple so that it’s able to stand out from others. 10.0/10
Again, disappointed by the one I had at Honolulu Coffee Shop, I decided to give the Macaroni in Soup with ham slices a try once more, and trying to figure out why this dish is so famous in most cafe in Hong Kong, just to met with another disappointment. 2.0/10
One thing to take note here is everything is about speed here. We reach at around 9AM in the morning, and we haven’t even sat down for 30 seconds, a waiter is beside us waiting impatiently to get our orders.
This lead to me ordering some wrong dishes such as the steamed white bread above as I don’t have time to look at the menu properly. I also almost missing ordering the scrambled egg until I saw the other customers that shared the same table with us ordering it.
Again, everything is about speed here. They take your orders fast, they served fast, and they too wish you to eat fast and leave fast so they can served another customer fast.
So will I come back here again? Certainly for the scrambled egg but I will give almost every other thing a skip.
