Honolulu Coffee Shop @ Wanchai, Hong Kong

It’s been since almost 3 months since my last update here. My Hong Kong trip is still yet to be updated till now and hence here I am back and punching again. No, not using fist ya…

After finish visiting the Hong Kong Electronic Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, both me and LY are tired. The Convention Centre is HUGE and we tried to have some snack before back to our hotel.

While trying to walk to our target destination, the Honolulu Coffee Shop at Hennessy Road, Wanchai, we failed yet again in finding it. So after some walking, again, I decided that taking a cab is the best way. I really spend too much money on taxi fares during this Hong Kong trip.

It was around 4PM, and the shop is still full with customers, and we still need to share our table with others.

The drinks are nice.

One bite on the French toast makes me pull the poker face as it’s almost tasteless. Then only I noticed that I need to pour the syrup which is available on the table itself then it taste gooding! 7.0/10

Latest Recipe @ Le’ Meridien Kuala Lumpur

After a tiring bus trip from Penang to Kuala Lumpur, and only have a sandwich since 10.00AM, the first thing we wanted to do is have some nice little food to fill up our stomach after our check-in.

While all restaurants inside the hotel are closed at 3.00PM besides Latest Recipe, we had no choice but to dine here.

Qi Chiong Gai Muar Chee and Air Mata Kucing @ Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur

While waiting for my salted duck to be ready, I walk around Petaling Street, hunting for more food to be eated in the bus for my trip back to Sungai Petani. Finally I settle down on the Muar Chee stall just beside the salted duck stall.

I am actually attracted by all the newspaper report on the stall, seems to be highly recommended, and the yellow signboard saying “Ma Chi Very Good” also makes me want to get something from the aunty too. Seems like I am easily cheated by advertisement huh?

This is also the first time I saw Muar Chee got so many different flavor, but in the end we settle for the original flavor, which cost us Rm5, the most expansive Muar Chee I ever ate before!
